Arusha National Park Overview

Arusha National Park, situated in Tanzania, is renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Visitors flock to this park to witness an abundance of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the annual migration of various species.

Entry Fees for Non-Residents

  • Peak Season (July to December): Non-resident adults: USD 200 per day, children/students: USD 50 per day.
  • Low Season (January to June): Non-resident adults: USD 100 per day, children/students: USD 50 per day.

Entry Fees for Residents and Tanzanian Citizens

  • Peak Season: Resident adults: TZS 3000, children/students: TZS 1000.
  • Low Season: Resident adults: TZS 1000, children/students: TZS 1000.

Camping Fees

Camping fees vary based on residency and the type of campsite chosen. Private campsites require a booking fee of TZS 10,000.

Vehicle and Other Fees

  • Vehicle Entry: Charges range from TZS 400 for vehicles with less than 6 seats to TZS 5,000 for vehicles with 45 seats and above.
  • Ranger Fees: Game drives exceeding 6 hours incur a fee of TZS 3,000, while shorter drives and full-night camp security have separate fees.

Payment Modes

Entrance fees can be paid in either US Dollars or Tanzanian Shillings at the entry gates. However, cashless payments are mandatory for the western side of the reserve, particularly the Mara Triangle – Mara Conservancy area. Accepted modes of cashless payment include Visa/Mastercard or Mpesa Mobile Money.
